"Chicago: Teen Edition" tells the story of Roxie Hart, a chorus girl in 1920s Chicago, who murders her unfaithful lover and manipulates her husband to take the blame, while simultaneously competing with fellow inmate Velma Kelly, a nightclub star, for media attention and freedom from prison by using a slick lawyer to play the press and court system to their advantage, all while navigating themes of ambition, betrayal, and the pursuit of fame in a world where scandal is currency; this adapted version is made suitable for younger audiences by removing explicit content and language.
