Membership
Students earn thespian points by participating in theatre productions, competitions and events. We hold an induction ceremony once a year where new students are formally inducted into our troupe.
Prior to becoming a member, students may participate in thespian events. After becoming a member, students must maintain their membership each year.

Exciting Results from District Thespy Events
This season, Encore students attended District Thespys held at Blake HS in October and District One Acts held at USF in December. Our troupe did very well at Districts this year and are looking foward the STATE FESTIVAL in March! Our troupe took 51 Thespy events to Districts. 30 of those received SUPERIOR RATINGS...the top rating!

Some of our Thespy events earned the highest score in their room/category at districts and earned the title of TOP HONORS. All of our TOP HONORS also received the DISTRICT REP NOMINATION in their category.

In addition to our individual thespy events, our troupe also entered our play ONE STOPLIGHT TOWN in the District One Act Play Festival. The play received STRAIGHT SUPERIORS. Eddie Huntoon was awarded the recognition of District All Star Cast and the entire ensemble received the award of OUTSTANDING ENSEMBLE. Four of the Twenty Four plays entered at Districts earned the honor of representing our district at our STATE FESTIVAL and our play is one of those four! WE'RE GOING TO STATE!!!!
Each troupe is allowed to bring ONLY 6 Thespy events to STATE. In addition to our one act play, the following Thespy pieces have been chosen to represent our troupe at STATE:
